What will my child actually learn?

The basics, by doing them: earning through chores, making an allowance last, thinking before they spend, saving up, and how interest works. They see real numbers every day instead of hearing a lecture.

Is real money moved through the app?

No. Pocket Cub is a shared record between you and your child. You hand over cash or pay as you normally would, and the app keeps track.

Does my child need their own phone?

No. Kid Mode runs on your phone, and a passcode keeps Parent Mode locked.

Who pays the interest?

You do. You decide the rate and the lock period, a bit like being your child’s own bank.

Can I have more than one child?

Yes. Add as many as you like, each with their own account.

What age is it for?

Roughly 5 to 14. It works in US dollars and other currencies, and you can sign in with a US (+1) or Indian (+91) number, or Google.

Is it free?

Yes. No card and no fees.

Which phones does it work on?

Android now, iPhone coming soon.

What’s next?

A few things on the way:

  • The iPhone app
  • Inviting a co-parent to manage the family together
  • A web dashboard for parents
  • More kinds of savings tools
